We couldn't have asked for a better value for our money. The room at Cob Cottage was cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The hosts, Gwynne and Linda, were really nice too make us feel welcome, even giving us a tour of the farm and providing us with homemade treats upon arrival.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a poacher for making poached eggs.

My partner and I stayed at the idyllic Cob Cottage for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Linda and Gwynne, who made us feel right at home with tea and cakes. They even took the time to give us a tour of their farm, which was a delightful experience. The cottage itself was comfortable and peaceful, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Everything about our stay surpassed our expectations, thanks to the kindness and hospitality of Linda and Gwynne. We can't wait to return.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location of this cottage was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It felt incredibly homely and cozy, with all the necessities provided. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, even going the extra mile to make a homemade birthday cake for my daughter. Despite the stormy weather, the hosts offered us an extra night's stay for free and were even kind enough to guide us through an alternative route due to the flooded roads. it was a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.
Our experience at the nearby pub, where the staff was unpleasant and unaccommodating. We arrived at 2pm on a Saturday, hoping to have a meal, but were turned away with no apology or alternative options.

We had the most incredible stay at this stunning rural retreat. Linda and Gwynn, the owners, were warm and generous, always respecting our space but also being available whenever we needed them. They even gave us a tour of their farm, where our daughters had the special treat of holding new lambs. the cottage itself was done to a very high standard with every detail carefully thought out, providing all the comforts of home and more. The views from the cottage were absolutely breathtaking, and we felt extremely welcome and comfortable during our stay. Cons: No issues at all! 😊.
